I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The ocean view suite was incredible with lovely little extras, but the valet parking fee of $33.00 per day was a bit steep. The service was excellent overall, with some minor hiccups. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Cannery Row. The dining experience was outstanding, and the facilities were top-notch.
After a long trip to Big Sur, the hotel at other people's windows turned out to be quite spacious, meeting my expectations. Although the room wasn't ready upon arrival, they kindly offered to call us when it was ready, giving us time for a relaxing walk. The service welcomed us back warmly and accommodated our needs, but there were minor inconveniences with parking regulations.
The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of Cannery Row with great ocean views and very close to the Aquarium. The rooms, though cozy and clean, may not offer the expected ocean view due to obstruction by surrounding buildings and road noise. The service, while generally accommodating and helpful, lacked consistency as some staff members seemed more focused on personal conversations. Dining options off a menu were enjoyable with a stunning Pacific view, but a minor setback was an overcooked burger during lunch.
The hotel offers stunning waterfront views with the charm of nearby fireplaces; however, occasional smell of burning wood. The balcony overlooking the water adds to the room's appeal, creating a cozy atmosphere.
Our stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and excitement. The rooms were simple but very comfortable, featuring a huge bathroom and the most comfortable king bed. However, the disco/dance music till 1AM was a downside that affected our rest. The service was exceptional, with the staff being super friendly and professional. The location was convenient, right in the heart of Cannery Row, although the noise level was a bit high for our liking. The dining experience was delightful on the terrace overlooking the sea, but the menu options were limited. Despite the lively atmosphere, the facilities were well-maintained, offering room service and tours assistance.
The hotel's location is simply brilliant, right in the heart of Monterey with views of Bubba Gumps, Cannery Row, and the bay, offering a modern and clean room with the only setback being a slight initial odor due to leftovers in the fridge. The service, excellent overall, was particularly pleasant from valet parking to housekeeping, although some interactions could have been friendlier. The dining experience at the restaurant provided wonderful views and a diverse menu, but with limited breakfast options. The facilities were top-notch and well-maintained, offering a delightful stay.
